The first album by the new names (to Australian audiences) in Irish music. The group pay homage to some on the greats in country music such as Johnny Cash, Hank Locklin, Glen Campbell, Charlie Pride, Hank Williams, Merle Haggard.
This idea of putting the three singers together on one show was the brainchild of Joe Finnegan from Shannonside-Northern Sound radio and it has worked a treat with the three singers still working on the dancing circuit with their own bands while having a separate group of backing musicians for the concert tour.
The mix of comedy on their live shows has worked very well especially the impersonations of Jedward by Patrick Feeney and Robert Mizzell. They gatecrash part of Jimmy Buckley’s section of the show jumping up on the stage and shouting that it’s boring! Patrick’s impersonation of the Jedwardian voices is better than that of Robert Mizzell, but the latter’s American accent adds some extra humour to this segment of the concert.
The three singers work well together on stage and their individual slots also dovetail neatly into the shows. The backing band, many of them members of The Conquerors, have been working very well with the singers during the concert tour.
