Bossa Nova is a style of Brazilian music. It acquired a large following in the 1960s, initially consisting of young musicians and college students. Since its birth, the Bossa Nova movement contributed with its style and a number of songs to the standard jazz repertoire. This compilation features a collection of well known standards re-arranged and recorded with a new Bossa Nova twist. All Vocals by Cecilia Dale, who grew up in a traditional Bossa Nova music family where everyone sang, played and composed music.
